Geotechnical Project Engineer

Manage geotechnical testing projects, conduct field work, and coordinate with clients and teams.

Tasks

-Develop and manage projects with clients -Provide on-site project management to complete field testing -Review, update and approve invoices weekly for ongoing projects -Complete proof roll observations and undercuts -Support Construction Materials Testing Manager in achieving financial goals -Oversee materials testing projects to ensure the proper tests are being performed at the required frequency and to ensure that projects specifications are being met -Create and update project proposals and reports -Document accurate and detailed daily field activity and/or diagrams and report the findings to clients and supervisors -Maintain daily communication with technicians, contractors, and other project managers

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering -Engineer in training (E.I.T.) Certification -Minimum of 4 years of experience required. -Valid Driver's License and a good driving record -Communicate verbally and electronically with various field personnel and colleagues -P.E. license preferred.
