Tasks

-Primarily on construction sites, with some office-based work for planning and documentation. -Identify potential technical challenges and develop solutions to mitigate risks. -Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams to address and resolve on-site issues promptly. -Maintain detailed records of project progress, technical issues, and resolutions. -Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards. -Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely decision-making. -Prepare regular reports for project managers and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions. -Assist in developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for infrastructure projects. -Ensure all technical documentation is accurate and complies with industry standards and local regulations, particularly focusing on infrastructure-specific requirements. -May require working extended hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines. -Prepare and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software. -Collaborate with architects and project managers to understand project specifications and design requirements. -Conduct tests and inspections of materials and workmanship to verify compliance with specifications, with an emphasis on infrastructure elements like roads, bridges, and utilities. -Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements are met. -Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to resolve technical issues specific to infrastructure projects. -Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. -Ensure all construction activities adhere to local building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards. -Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of construction.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. -Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations in the UAE, specifically related to infrastructure. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a focus on infrastructure projects. -Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or other relevant professional certifications. -Frequent interaction with contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities. -Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and green building standards. -Preferably experienced in BIM Implementation and usage of Revit & Navisworks -Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. -Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. -Proficiency in CAD, Civil 3D software and other relevant engineering tools. -Proven experience in project planning, site supervision, and quality control.
