Overview

Oversee QHSE systems, ensuring ISO compliance and continuous improvement in fabrication.

Tasks

-Implement and continually improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) across fabrication operations. -Conduct risk assessments (HIRA, JSA) for fabrication, welding, material handling, and lifting operations. -Ensure adherence to PPE compliance, safety work permits, and safe operating procedures (SOP's) across all shop floor areas. -Implement and sustain the Environmental Management System (EMS) as per ISO 14001:2015. -Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions, identify root causes, and drive preventive measures. -Oversee waste management practices, including segregation, recycling, and safe disposal through authorized vendors. -Develop, update, and control all QHSE-related documentation, including manuals, procedures, SOP's, and forms. -Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for non-conformance, rejections, and customer complaints, ensuring effective CAPA closure. -Develop and conduct training programs on QHSE awareness, hazard identification, and safe work practices. -Conduct internal audits and support external audits by certification agencies and customers. -Manage product traceability, calibration of inspection instruments, and documentation control. -Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections for SS & CS materials, sub assemblies, and finished equipment. -Ensure timely closure of audit nonconformists and drive continual improvement actions. -Prepare and maintain Quality Control Plans (QCPs), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and ensure adherence during production. -Conduct environmental awareness training for all employees and ensure documentation as per legal and ISO requirements. -Verify compliance with drawings, material specifications, and welding procedures (WPS/PQR/WPQ). -Prepare and present monthly QHSE performance dashboards and audit summaries to management. -Drive initiatives to improve right-first-time quality and minimize rework and scrap. -Liaise with customers, suppliers, and third-party inspectors to address quality concerns and inspection requirements. -Encourage employee participation in improvement initiatives and recognize contributions toward safety and quality. -Monitor and report safety performance metrics (TRIR, LTIFR, Near Miss Frequency) to management. -Support management review meetings by providing data-driven insights on performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. -Implement and maintain the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) in alignment with ISO 45001:2018 requirements. -Promote 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing principles across the fabrication and assembly areas. -Promote a Zero Accident Culture by enhancing awareness, ownership, and employee engagement in safety programs. -Maintain statutory records and ensure readiness for regulatory inspections and renewals. -Monitor emissions, noise, energy, and water consumption, and drive conservation initiatives. -Conduct regular safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness drills for employees and contractors. -Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and company sustainability goals. -Identify and evaluate environmental aspects and impacts (AIA) of fabrication and surface finishing processes.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership abilities. -Experience in root cause analysis, CAPA management, and audit execution. -Hands-on understanding of fabrication and welding processes (SS & CS materials). -Good understanding of statutory compliance related to safety and environment. -Analytical thinking with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement. -Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards. -Ability to drive cross-functional coordination and foster a culture of quality and safety.
