Lead delivery of response/maintenance contracts, managing teams, health & safety, resources.

Tasks
-Take ownership of recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new members. -Sense check site reporting, produce accurate reporting, and implement corrective actions. -Ensure resources, including subcontractors, plant, and materials are available to deliver the work as planned -Be accountable and manage your own time, allowing you to maintain productivity and ensure procedures and reports are up to date. -With a direct labour team, you lead by example, motivating, incentivising, and developing individuals. This includes Apprentices, as we believe in delivering our work directly, and developing from within. -Building relationships both internally and externally, we encourage commercial and operational teams to work closely together to ensure the successful delivery of a contract. -Instilling ownership and responsibility in your teams, you lead and support the successful delivery of works, on time and to budget. -Responsible for leading the operational delivery of a response and maintenance contract.

What You Bring
-Experience in producing high standards of Health and Safety management through strong system controls and leadership by example -Customer centric. Understands customers’ needs and consistently delivers in line with their expectations -An SMSTS qualification with a sound working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. -Strong planning and organising skills to make workstreams are successful in delivery, resource and quality, while understanding cost and risk management -Experience working on social housing, response and maintenance contracts is preferred. -Demonstrable experience in managing direct labour, you invest in your team and understand individuals capabilities, to maximise their potential, develop them and produce a high performing team -A trade background (all trades considered to NVQ level 2 or equivalent) is preferred, but not essential.
