Coordinate and track EV charging permit submissions and approvals.

Tasks

-Assist in reviewing permit drawings and construction documents for completeness and compliance prior to submission. -Communicate with AHJs, design vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely responses to permit-related inquiries. -Track permit status across multiple jurisdictions and update internal databases and spreadsheets with real-time progress. -Maintain organized records of all permitting documentation, correspondence, and approvals. -Prepare and submit permit applications and support documentation to AHJs in coordination with design and development teams. -Contribute to process improvements by documenting lessons learned and supporting updates to permitting workflows and templates. -Coordinate with the Policy team on local permitting challenges that may require engagement with elected officials or municipal leadership. -Support the Permitting Manager and the Development Engineering team in identifying and addressing permitting delays or escalations.

What You Bring

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project tracking tools (e.g., Excel, Salesforce, or similar). -Experience in EV infrastructure, renewable energy, or utility projects is a plus. -Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
