Lead design of electrical systems for commercial fit-outs and new builds in Toronto.

Tasks

-Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. -Conduct site reviews, inspections, and commissioning as required. -Prepare design calculations, specifications, and drawings for lighting, power distribution, fire/life safety, and low-voltage systems. -Manage client expectations and provide technical advice throughout project lifecycles. -Lead electrical engineering design for tenancy build-outs, renovations, and new construction projects. -Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers, providing technical oversight and knowledge sharing.

What You Bring

-Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software. -7+ years of experience in electrical engineering design, ideally within consulting engineering firms. -Excellent communication and project management skills. -Experience with tenancy fit-outs and new build commercial projects in Toronto. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (P. Eng designation preferred). -Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code, CEC, and building codes.
