Overview

Set out and execute ground works for high‑voltage cable installation and maintenance.

Tasks

-Work under the direct instruction of the Project Engineer in charge of the works to fulfil the schedule of works required in line with cost, time and quality. -Liaising with third parties such as scaffolders, shot blasters and traffic management contractors. -Achieving required training including Distribution Network Operators substation access and holding Safety documents. Supervising the working party on site and working closely with the local engineers. Telehandler and MEWP Driving. Assisting with general yard duties. -Setting out and undertaking all ground works associated with new underground cable installation and maintenance of the existing high voltage electricity network. -Contribute to a safe working environment via inputting into site documentation and adherence to policies and standards.
