Tasks

You’ll oversee all phases of electrical design while acting as a key technical and project leader. From concept to completion, you'll ensure quality outcomes that meet both project and client expectations. -Review and approve layouts, schematics, and technical calculations -Share updates on industry regulations and best practices with the wider team -Attend project meetings, ensuring timely close-out of actions -Conduct reviews of IES reports, daylight/sunlight assessments, and provide recommendations -Lead the development of basis of design documents and oversee all project stages -Liaise directly with external consultants, acting as the main point of contact -Conduct value engineering to optimise electrical system performance -Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring accuracy and accountability -Ensure compliance with client requirements, standards, and best practices -Manage internal discipline resources and coordinate cross-functional timelines -Support and mentor junior engineers, fostering continuous professional development -Participate in industry events and stay up to date on evolving market trends

What You Bring

✅ Proven ability to lead engineering projects from concept through delivery ✅ Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant platforms ✅ Knowledge of relevant regulations, safety codes, and technical standards ✅ Extensive experience in electrical design for building services ✅ Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with clients and consultants ✅ Experience with cost control, budgeting, and value engineering ✅ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
