Overview
On-site superintendent overseeing grading, safety, schedule, and crew for infrastructure projects.

Tasks
-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Assists the project team by providing input to identify key success factors, timing of design and procurement deliverables, and establishing common work breakdown. -Reviews and monitors cost and man-hour budget for installation process and develops a staff, facilities, equipment, and tool requirement plan. -Monitors crews for organizational structure, sizing, crew mix ratios, and wage compliance. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Evaluates execution for compliance to contract, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality, advising the project team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors on "to go" scope. -Monitors the implementation of safety orientations, safety indoctrinations, provides coaching for improvement. -Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of the work, quality, subcontractor performance, and construction cost.

What You Bring
-A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Working knowledge of Trimble/machine grade control, demo, excavation, lime and flex base operations -Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with management and fellow employees. -Regular, reliable attendance -Bilingual proficiency a plus. -Knowledge of local materials -5+ years’ work experience in the construction industry, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory role managing multiple grading crews at a time. -Direct knowledge in the areas of roads, highways, and bridges along with Maintenance of Traffic, Erosion Control and Safety Training required.
