Assistant Field Manager

Overview

Supports construction site management, supervising crews, schedules, subcontracts and compliance.

Tasks

-Monitors production rates and schedules -Assists with reporting obligations -Reviews submittals and expedites materials -Follows company policies and procedures and assists with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement -Supports and/or supervises work crews from excavation through punch list -Supervises subcontractors and monitors work performance, progress, and productivity -Assists Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and reporting responsibilities, as assigned -Reviews and interprets shop drawings

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Superior organizational skills -Ability to multitask -4-year college degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or related discipline (or a satisfactory combination of relevant military training and/or experience in construction-related fields)
