Overview

Develop cloud-native apps and AI/ML integrations as a junior software engineer.

Tasks

-Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews. -Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects. -Work with tools such as Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and AWS services under guidance. -Collaborate with senior engineers to develop, test, and deploy cloud-native applications and services. -Document technical work and contribute to team knowledge sharing. -Support integration efforts with AI/ML components and infrastructure systems. -Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. -Learn and apply best practices in software architecture, DevOps, and CI/CD.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as JavaScript (React/Node.js), Python, or Java. -All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. -Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket). -Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS through coursework or projects. -Experience with CI/CD tools or pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). -Exposure to AI/ML concepts or data-driven applications. -Bachelors degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent work experience. -Eagerness to learn, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset. -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). -In addition to the education requirements, zero to four years related experience. -Familiarity with agile development environments. -1–3 years of professional software development experience (internships or academic projects welcome).
