Tasks

-Maintains accurate accounting of transactions and posts activity through manual methods or computer system. -This employee off-loads and loads trailers, moves material within the warehouse and assists in other warehouse activities, as directed. -Safely operate one or more types of lift trucks to load/unload trailers and transport materials to and from production and support departments understanding -Initiates required paperwork (RMA) for returning product for some suppliers. -Required to cycle count inventory in order to ensure inventory accuracy. Involved with year-end inventory audit. -Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being an owner of the company -Works with the Purchasing Department to prioritize receipts and correct receiving problems such as no P.O. number, early receipt, invalid part number, and/or incorrect quantity. -Helps with inspection of incoming material as needed.
