A completed Bachelor in Civil or Structural engineering is required (Washington Accord)
Chartered Engineer with Engineers New Zealand or working towards
RPEQ registration or working towards obtaining the registration is advantageous
Proven experience in structural engineering is mandatory (could include structural analysis of steel structures, industrial structures and platforms, pipe racks and supports, gantry cranes, plateworks, concrete slabs and footings, machine stands and equipment skids), ideally in oil & gas, renewables, mining, infrastructure and other heavy industries
Proven ability to work in a busy and proactive team through design, review and approval of works
Proven experience in civil engineering (i.e. earthworks, drainage, access roads) is advantageous but not required
