The Role

Overview

Inspect, test, and maintain rented tools/equipment to ensure safety and functionality.

Tasks

-Responsible for green tagging items that pass inspection, as well as red tagging items that pose safety concerns. -Responsible of keeping work area safe, highly organized, and efficient at all times. -Inspect, test, and clean battery, gas, and 110-volt powered tools as necessary. -Identify items that are covered by a manufacturer warranty and coordinating the covered repairs. -Return equipment to the proper bin location (i.e. warranty, damaged, rent ready, etc.). -Ensure that tools and equipment meet all manufacturer specifications and operational requirements. -Inspect, test, and make minor repairs on 240-volt temporary power and lighting components.

What You Bring

-Ability to read and respond to emailed inquiries from customers and/or employees. -High level of mechanical aptitude. -Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). -Working knowledge of electrical safety best practices. -Previous experience inspecting tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment preferred.
