Overview

Assist with roadway design using OpenRoads Designer and alternative delivery projects.

Tasks

-Support senior staff in designing roadways, highways, interchanges, and related infrastructure. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality, cost-effective designs. -Attend meetings, support field visits, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. -Learn and apply applicable state DOT standards in design work. -Participate in alternative delivery project efforts, including design-build pursuits. -Assist in preparing roadway plans, profiles, and 3D models using OpenRoads Designer (ORD). -Help develop technical documents including design reports, cost estimates, and specifications.

What You Bring

-Two (2) + years of relevant experience in transportation engineering. -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. -Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work in a team environment. -Prior collaboration with contractors or experience in a multi-firm team setting. -Experience with applicable state DOT standards and processes. -EIT certification required. -Exposure to fast-paced design or design-build project environments. -Familiarity with OpenRoads Designer (ORD) for roadway design and modeling.
