Tasks

As a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer specializing in MEP design, you’ll contribute to the full project lifecycle — from concept through construction. -Perform engineering calculations and design Electrical, or HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for building projects -Conduct site visits, field surveys, and construction administration duties -Assist senior engineers and project managers in delivering projects on time and within budget -Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support contractors during project execution -Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems -Develop drawings, models, and specifications using Revit and/or AutoCAD -Stay current with applicable building codes, energy standards, and industry best practices

Our client, a multidisciplinary engineering firm in Raleigh, NC is looking for a skilled engineer to join in designing innovative, sustainable, and efficient building systems across a wide range of project types — from healthcare and commercial to education, retail, industrial, government, and mixed-use developments. -EIT certification required; PE licensure preferred -Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD required -3+ years of professional experience in MEP building systems design (minimum) -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline -Familiarity with building codes, ASHRAE standards, NEC, and other applicable design standards -Cutting-Edge Tools: Hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD to produce high-quality design documents -Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
