Tasks

-Prepare site grading and utility plans, coordinating with municipal parties. Perform hydraulic calculations and prepare construction documents for permitting -Communicate project status with the Project Manager, client, and other relevant parties, including preparing reports, data, and project activities. -Analyze and produce designs for stormwater, sewer, pipeline, parking, sidewalks, roadway, etc. using design software -Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures, following construction and government standards using design software -Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, or material stress factors to determine design specifications -Analyze and interpret survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects

What You Bring

-Any experience in designing for civil projects or performing calculations; land development, commercial, industrial, land development, retail, education, municipal, roadways, water resources, or utilities. -Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office. Other relevant programs could include HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, or Bluebeam -Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Connections are a critical part of how we work. -Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. -Professional Engineer certification
