Production Supervisor / Manager

Tasks

-Communicate with other manufacturing departments and escalate production issues to the Director of Manufacturing as needed. -Supervise staff to produce manufactured products and organize and monitor workflow. -Adhere to ISO 9001/2015 standards. -Accomplish manufacturing results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. -Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards. -Maintain a safe and clean work environment by training and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. -Ensure production plans are completed on time. -Create and justify purchase requisitions to support manufacturing teams. -Oversee and coach employees, identify issues in efficiency, and suggest improvements. -Coach, counsel, and discipline employees while initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. -Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results to the Director of Manufacturing.

-Strong organizational and leadership skills. -Demonstrated experience in performance evaluations for employees. -Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems. -Prior experience in lean manufacturing. -High School Diploma. -Experience using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools. -Conflict resolution and the ability to write and deliver disciplinary actions. -3-5+ years of proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role. -Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Proficient problem-solving skills.
