The Role

Overview

Assist project delivery in commercial construction by handling engineering tasks, schedules, and coordination.

Tasks

-Enforce corporate safety policies on jobsite -Prepare meeting agendas and lead meetings -Assist in managing project schedule -Provide technical support for resolution and tracking of project issues -Assist with planning and managing site logistics -Receive and review/evaluate contractor quotations for changes and process change orders -Manage plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities -Processing of submittals and RFI’s -Support superintendents to ensure contractors maintain schedule in the field

What You Bring

-4-year Engineering, Construction Management or related degree required -Strong organizational skills applied to Document Control and Close Out -Well-organized, detail-oriented and ability to be self-directed to problem solve issues -1 to 3 years of professional and/or related construction internship experience required -Strong proactive positive attitude with commitment to Safety -OSHA 30 Hour preferred
