Overview

Develop and maintain large-scale distributed C#/.NET data platforms on AWS.

Tasks

-Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices -Produce bullet-proof code that is robust, efficient and maintainable; our primary tools are C#, .NET Framework, SQL Server, AWS -Lead software design sessions, promote adoption of development patterns, perform code reviews -Build large, distributed, API-driven systems accessed by millions of users each month

What You Bring

-Relational database schema design -Knowledge-sharing and mentoring of more junior-level team members -Data modeling experience from conceptual, logical, and physical designs -Strong communication skills; the ability to convey technical jargon to both business and technical partners -Familiarity with AWS PaaS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and SQS -Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college. -Experience in architecting, designing, and building large scale, distributed service-oriented systems and Web applications in an agile environment -5+ years’ experience in C#, .NET Framework -A track record of delivering long-term impact to prior employers. -SQL and database development knowledge -Working knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS or Azure) -Experience with RESTful web services and ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI
