Tasks

-Manage large scale and/or multiple projects with key clients -Support and manage junior team members to deliver our cost management service efficiently and effectively. Also provide support for their ongoing development -Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and consultants -Manage the tender process, review and analyse tender returns and prepare recommendations to the client as well as advice on procurement routes -Help manage and develop a strong cost management team -Support senior team with business planning and contribute to winning repeat business and new opportunities -Prepare and issue tender documents -Lead on all aspects of cost management from inception to completion -Provide robust post contract cost control measures, establishing the effect of variations and evaluating and negotiating final account settlements -Attend meetings, prepare financial reports and monitor on the status of projects -Produce, high level feasibility studies, cost estimates and cost plans throughout all stage of the design -Advise on building contract terms -Evaluate the cost of building designs and alternative proposals to maintain project budgets

What You Bring

-Articulate, capable of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships -Relevant degree in a quantity surveying, or similar, RICS accredited course. -Commercially aware with excellent negotiation and organisational skills. -Experience of technically complex projects.
