Tasks

-Developing conceptual level designs for water and wastewater treatment systems -Oversee the development of construction drawings and 3D models pertaining to hydraulic structures. -Developing detailed designs, including contract documents (plans and specifications) -Coordinating with process mechanical team for detailed design services for treatment facilities -Support of water and wastewater process evaluation, selection, and implementation -Be included in client meetings and industry conferences -Preparing design calculations, coordinating with other support discipline activities on projects, coordinating with regional Garver offices, and construction cost estimating,

What You Bring

-Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook. -Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification or able to obtain within the next 6 months. -Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team comprised of civil, structural, building mechanical, electrical, and Instrumentation and control disciplines. -5+ years of direct experience with water and wastewater treatment processes. -Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) -Master’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or biosystems/biological engineering from an ABET accredited program -2+ years of experience with biological modeling software (GPS-X, SUMO, BioWin, etc.) -Solid understanding of drinking water treatment processes or wastewater treatment processes (biological, chemical, and physical) -PhD degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or biosystems/biological or related engineering discipline. -2+ years of experience with open-channel flow hydraulic modeling -2+ years of direct process experience with water/wastewater treatment plant. -Strong communication skills as required to collaborate project designs with multi-discipline project teams
