The Role

Overview

Prepare, review and analyze accounting records and financial reports for PJM activity.

Tasks

-Participate in month-end, quarterly, and year-end closings and financial reporting activities. -Conduct complex assignments and analysis involving the day-to-day maintenance of the general ledger. -Gather, compile, and review weekly/monthly PJM activity to process weekly billings, record monthly GL acitivty, and distribute monthly records. -Perform appropriate accounting controls. -Routinely interact with both internal and external customers. -Identify areas for increased process automation and other efficiencies and work to implement them. -Identify inconsistencies and problems and work to resolve them. -Participate in and perform quarterly and year-end Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) financial reporting requirements and responsibilities.
