Tasks
O’Connell Robertson may be required to run background checks on individuals working on jobsites where a background check is required by the owner. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for working with engineering team members and coordinating with consultants on studies, design, or construction documents of various scale projects. -Coordinate construction documents for small to medium-sized projects -Perform site surveys and coordinate with the electric utility for assessment of renovation or new construction needs -Design building electrical systems including power distribution and lighting design, along with familiarity of fire alarm and low voltage systems -Work collaboratively with our firm’s integrated engineers, architects and interior designers across all offices -Review CA related items and perform site observations during construction

If that describes you, there’s an exciting career that awaits you here. -3+ years of experience -Revit experience required -Understand codes, standards, and guidelines related to the practice of building design -Associate's degree in electrical engineering, architectural engineering or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred -EIT preferred -Be familiar with software for performing electrical loads, short circuit analysis, and lighting calculations
