Construction Apprentice

Overview

Perform physical labor and install fueling and piping systems on construction sites.

Tasks

-Exercise proper care and use of all related hand tools. -Follow safety procedures at all times -Perform general housekeeping at the job site; maintain a neat and organized job site. -Exercise proper care and use of all related power tools including, but not limited to, pumps, generators, saws, drills, and compaction equipment. -Installation of new sub-base aggregate, compaction with vibratory equipment. Forming and pouring concrete pads, islands, piers and other structures. -Installation of fueling dispensers and systems -Demo and removal of concrete / asphalt. -Installation of specialty fiberglass or flexible piping systems.

What You Bring

-Ability to travel to job sites (may require overnight travel) -Previous construction or related laborer experience is preferred -HSA and FSA -Ability to lift 50 lbs -Must successfully complete pre-employment testing to include but not limited to: skills testing and pre-employment background checks as well as drug testing -Preferrable to possess a valid Driver’s License -Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
