Tasks
-Conduct thorough inspections of steel fabrication processes and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications -Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and improve processes -Calibrate and maintain inspection tools and equipment -Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to relevant stakeholders, including management and production teams -Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality control -Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify product conformity -Perform dimensional checks, visual inspections, and non-destructive testing as required -Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide recommendations for process enhancements -Identify and document quality issues, defects, or non-conformances -Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and reports

What You Bring
-Strong familiarity with steel fabrication processes and techniques -Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and quality management software -Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail -Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications -Experience with various inspection tools and equipment -In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures, standards, and steel fabrication industry regulations -Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control within the steel fabrication industry -Strong communication skills, both verbal and written -Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment -Relevant quality control certifications (e.g., ASQ, CWI) preferred -Willingness to work flexible hours as required by production schedules -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field -Understanding of welding processes and inspection techniques
