The Role

Overview

Assemble paint marking equipment, hydraulic and mechanical systems per specs.

Tasks

-Integrate automated striping systems with truck chassis, ensuring proper calibration and alignment. -Assemble mechanical systems such as hydraulics, paint tanks, compressors, and striping mechanisms based on blueprints and schematics. -Collaborate with electrical and control teams to coordinate mechanical-electrical interface points. -Test mechanical systems to verify functionality before final delivery or further integration. -Assemble defect-free paint marking units, parts, and accessories according to engineering specifications, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM). -Document assembly procedures and maintain records for traceability and quality assurance. -Install and align components including pumps, valves, actuators, and control panels using hand and power tools. -Mount auxiliary systems such as heating units, air dryers, and material hoppers required for paint application. -Fit and secure parts using bolts, screws, clips, or welding equipment to ensure structural integrity and operational safety. -Connect mechanical and pneumatic systems to ensure proper function of paint dispensing and striping equipment. -Inspect assembled components for defects, alignment, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

-Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality -Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail -Experience in assembly or manufacturing is a plus but not required -Ability to read and follow technical drawings, checklists, and BOMs -Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (Note: We do not test for THC) -Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support other departments -Knowledge of basic shop math -High school diploma or equivalent
