Provides technical/field support for electric transmission construction projects.

Tasks

-Provides technical and field support in at least one of the following Electric Transmission Construction areas: Access/Erosion & Sediment Controls/Rehabilitation -Support may include analyzing and evaluating technical documentation, equipment, process improvements, field conditions and other programs for assurance that construction work is performed in accordance with Company policy, procedures, and/ore requirements -Makes initial contact with customers and maintains communications when performing work on private property

-Ability to interact with the public -Good oral and written communication skills -Strong knowledge in multiple construction specializations -Ability to work in a team environment under a team lead concept -Good knowledge of contract administration and OSHA safety standards -Strong knowledge of operation, maintenance and technical construction applications -Good planning, organizational, and project management skills -Ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices -Good technical writing skills -Frequently exercises judgment in modifying the detail of work being performed to accommodate field conditions -Ability to apply engineering and construction theories and concepts to complex problems -Strong analytical, problem solving and abstract thinking skills -Ability to coordinate multiple tasks at multiple locations -Good Computer skills and knowledge, including an ability to use Microsoft Office programs as well as ability to learn customized software applications -Good decision making skills
