Overview

Repair, install, and maintain automatic doors and related hardware for commercial sites.

Tasks

-Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices. -Ensure strong attention to detail and adherence to processes. -Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors. -Carpentry-partition framing metal/wood studs, installation of doors/windows -Provide excellent service orientation to customers. -Conduct preventative maintenance and handle commercial doors, automatic doors, door hardware, storefront doors, door closers, and emergency exit devices.

What You Bring

-Clean driving record is a must for operating company vehicles -Utilize carpentry skills for partition framing with metal/wood studs and the installation of doors and windows. -Strong mechanical aptitude -Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently -Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. -Carpentry Skills: Partition framing with metal/wood studs and installation of doors/windows. -Certification: AAADM certification is a plus. -Adaptability: Ability to be successful in a highly fast-paced environment. -Strong service orientation to customers -Strong attention to detail and processes -Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes. -2+ years’ experience as an automatic door installer or service technician -Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a team environment as well as independently. -experience working with the following door manufacturers is a plus: -Ability to be successful in a highly fast-paced environment -Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under time and other constraints -Commercial Door Experience: Experience in commercial doors, automatic doors, door hardware, storefront doors, door closers, emergency exit devices, and preventative maintenance. -Customer Service: Strong service orientation to customers. -Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude. -Experience in commercial doors, automatic doors, door hardware, storefront doors, door closers, emergency exit devices and preventative maintenance -Driving Record: Clean driving record is a must for operating company vehicles. -Manage multiple projects and work well under time and other constraints. -AAADM certification a plus -Thrive in a highly fast-paced environment. -Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as an automatic door installer or service technician. -Proficient Knowledge: Service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices. -Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under time and other constraints.
