The Role

Overview

Configure, deploy, commission, and train end users on AV systems (Top Secret clearance).

Tasks

-Plan, organize and set up a full system “mock-up” -Review all close out documentation including as-built drawings and user guides -Communicate with project manager on outstanding issues, punch list items and client needs -Coordinate with project teammates on quality assurance documentation -Document and address punch list items -Generate and review request for information (RFI’s) -Provide technical training for end user technical team -Perform site inspection for installation quality -Assist project management team with presenting and obtaining project signoff -Test full system functionality -Coordinate with AV programmer on updates or revisions needed -Works with design team to ensure systems will work as designed. -Perform on-site end user training for all systems -Documenting redlines and quality assurance paperwork -Walk through systems with end user and/or consultants -Coordinate with project teammates on network documentation -Run through system operation and trouble shoot issues -Work with project foreman to address any installation issues during commissioning -Attend design and scope review meetings to provide feedback -Complete commissioning checklist paperwork

What You Bring

-Years of Experience: 5+ years of AV installation, commissioning, and service -Unified Communications (UC) experience -Superior Problem-Solving Skills -HS Degree required -Experience with AV industry software and platforms -Network troubleshooting and deployment experience -Leadership Development Training -A bility to multi-task project tasks in a technical environment -Valid driver’s license -Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Must be able to perform work using 6’-12’ ladders. -Self-motivated and always looking to grow -AVIXA CTS/CTS-I preferred -Technical School Certification or Community College (preferred) -Experience in audio tuning, equalization, and DSP programming -Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required for this position -Organized and proactive -Clear communication -Knowledge in Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, and QSC -Ability to read and understand design drawings
