Tasks

-Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strength CoStar’s technology platform and develop practices. -Use the latest technologies to derive insights from our vast data ecosystem using LLMs, MCP, and agentic workflow patterns. -Contribute to our distributed streaming ETL platform that provides data to core business products -Drive and lead software design, development standards, code reviews. -Produce code that is robust, efficient, and maintainable; our primary tools are C#, TypeScript, and React

What You Bring

-Working knowledge and experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS or Azure) -A basic understanding of how to build tools that utilize LLMs -Data modeling experience -Experience in architecting, designing, and building large scale distributed, services-oriented systems and web applications in an agile environment -Data modeling experience from conceptual, logical, and physical designs -Strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) -Familiarity with AWS PaaS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and SQS -5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Solid -Experience using design tools such as Figma or Sketch to create high-fidelity mocks -3+ years of .NET development (C#) development experience including cross platform communication technologies such as REST APIs or RPC -Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college. -A track record of commitment to prior employers -SQL and database development knowledge
