This Front End Engineer role exists to help us validate customer centric ideas fast - primarily this relates to helping new customers experience the value of our product as fast as possible. To do this we need a Software Engineer who can move fast and stand up experiments in a small team that address these ideas in the most efficient way possible. -Experience in a startup/scaleup environment is essential. -3-5 years of experience in web development. We use TypeScript (React) and PHP (Laravel) but any mix of languages and a desire to learn is great. -Ability to prioritise investment in handling edge cases versus shipping a test -Analytical ability to think beyond the happy path scenarios and ask relevant questions to dig deeper and make sure all bases are covered -Highly focused: you have a great ability to differentiate the essentials from the nice-to-haves in a way that gets you as fast as possible to the end result. -B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent -Experience working in an autonomous pod that ships independently of the broader company direction
