Overview
Manage enterprise risk, claims, and workers' compensation coordination in industrial/construction.

Tasks
-Build structure, policy, and processes in ambiguous or grey areas within risk and claims management -Manage claims through adjudication with WCB Alberta, WorkSafe BC, and insurance carriers, ensuring appropriate documentation and follow-through -Develop, track, and report on organizational risk exposures and work with leadership to mitigate these proactively -Take part in team events, professional development activities, and community initiatives -Collaborate closely with Safety, Legal, Procurement, and Insurance partners to ensure alignment and efficiency -Serve as a point of contact and ensure claims management teams perform as expected -Provide strategic insights and recommendations for risk management that integrates claims and operational safety -Support supplier and subcontractor pre-qualification and compliance risk management in collaboration with Procurement

What You Bring
-Highly organized with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities -Experience preferably from industries with significant field-level risk exposure such as industrial, construction, or operational environments -Familiarity with workers compensation and insurance claims processes -Proficient in MS Office, risk tracking, and case management software -Post-secondary education required; certifications in risk management or related fields are an asset -Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation board regulations and timelines -Comfortable managing ambiguity and building structured approaches in evolving contexts -Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills -Strong analytical skills to interpret claims and cost data for actionable insights -Self-motivated and able to work across multiple teams and roles with minimal supervision
