The Role

Overview

Perform exterior maintenance (carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical) for residential communities.

Tasks

-Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained. -Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains. -Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed. -Maintain company issued vehicle (routine PM’s, oil changes etc.), if applicable. -Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication skills, written and spoken. -2+ years of general, residential, maintenance experience. -Customer service focused and team oriented. -Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills. -Time management and time critical prioritization skills. -Valid driver's license is required. -High School Diploma or GED Required. -Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.); OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements and State or local governmental safety requirements.
