Tasks

-Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals from conceptual design through construction documents. -Mentor junior estimators and support development of estimating best practices across the team. -Lead estimating efforts for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scopes on commercial and mission-critical projects, including data centers. -Support preconstruction and design-assist activities, providing insight on constructability and value engineering opportunities. -Analyze historical cost data and project trends to develop accurate and competitive estimates. -Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope information.

What You Bring

We are supporting a leading national construction and engineering firm, recognized for delivering large-scale, complex projects across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities. We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our preconstruction team. The ideal candidate will bring strong MEP experience and a proven track record in data center and commercial construction projects. Note: This position has an opening in Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN -Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including labor, materials, and equipment costing. -Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with BIM/VD tools is a plus. -Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. -Exposure to cutting-edge building technologies and mission-critical facilities. -Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. -Minimum 7–10 years of estimating experience in MEP, commercial, and data center construction projects.
