Automation Commissioning / Service Field Engineer

Overview

Lead automation field engineer responsible for marine automation commissioning and maintenance.

Tasks

-To produce as commissioned documentation in accordance with independently audited Company Quality and Safety Management Systems e.g. BS EN 18001 and Classification Societies e.g. Lloyds Register and DNV. -Work on exciting cutting-edge technology on novel drive system topologies and challenging and exciting global projects. -Commissioning and full integration of Automation Systems. Service and fault finding on Automation equipment and associated systems. -Maintain competence through training courses and Electronic learning in line with company policies. -Installation and checking of associated cabling, circuit breakers, contactors, transformers, UPS batteries/systems and variable speed drives.

What You Bring

-Experienced with PC/PLC equipment. -Is a sole UK National and holds, or is eligible to obtain, UK security clearance to SC level. -Health and Safety trained. -To be competent and have a proven record of Automation System commissioning. -Customer Focused -Must have established record of sitework. -Be competent to produce, and maintain, documentation to the required standards. -HNC level qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or higher -Familiarity with IEC and marine classification society rules desirable. -Experience of MV drive commissioning and fault finding. -Good communication skills, written and verbal in English.
