Tasks

The jobholder governs the design and performance of Tarshid’s core infrastructure services, including Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, meeting platforms, and datacenter systems. The role ensures technical integrity, compliance, and alignment with the cloud-first strategy while overseeing service delivery by a managed service vendor. -Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, tracking KPIs and improvement plans. -Step in to operate and troubleshoot complex issues when and as needed. -Validate incident root cause analysis and corrective actions from the vendor. -Oversee day-to-day vendor operations across the following domains: -Act as the technical authority and design owner for infrastructure services delivered via managed service vendors. -Validate vendor resource allocation and skills meet organizational requirements. -Monitor and enforce vendor SLAs, ensuring timely reporting and escalation of issues. -Oversee change management processes for related modifications. -Own the end-to-end design, architecture, and governance of cloud and systems platforms. -Support managed service engineers in resolving high-severity incidents and escalations. -Ensure proper implementation of security controls and patches across related infrastructure systems. -Perform routine monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution to ensure systems availability and performance. -Define standards, policies, and procedures for systems, cloud, and datacenter domains. -Participate in IT audits, compliance assessments, and risk reviews related to infrastructure services. -Ensure alignment of technology platforms with Tarshid’s cloud-first strategy. -Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive infrastructure delivery. -Act as the primary point of contact for the managed service provider regarding network services.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with cloud service portals (Oracle Cloud, GCP, Azure). -Competence in change management, configuration control, and lifecycle governance. -Experience developing and enforcing infrastructure governance frameworks. -Understanding of Cisco collaboration platforms, AV meeting solutions, and room system integration. -General understanding of database administration and support environments. -Strong knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, and identity federation. -Virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Nutanix) -Windows and Linux servers -Cisco WebEx and AV conferencing solutions -5+ years of experience on IT Infrastructure /IT Engineer; preferably within an Energy industry. -Database systems (Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres, etc.) -Project coordination and multi-tasking skills in a dynamic environment. -Strong communication and presentation skills. -Analytical mindset and structured problem-solving. -Microsoft 365 (Email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) -Expert knowledge of IT infrastructure and Security best practices, procedures, and standards -Active Directory and ADFS (On-Prem) -Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Azure and other provider portals -Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services, especially Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive. -Strong skills in vendor management, SLA enforcement, and service performance tracking. -Strong knowledge in server virtualization, Windows/Linux OS, and datacenter technologies. -Ability to influence vendors and internal stakeholders. -Proficiency level in English required, and fluency in Arabic is preferred
