Overview
Manage cost control, contracts and commercial aspects of highway projects for Area 10.

Tasks
-Support procurement activities and subcontract management, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration. -Manage and mentor junior members of the commercial team. -Ensure compliance with Amey’s financial procedures, governance, and HSEQ standards. -Ensure compliance with NEC4 contracts, including early warning notices, compensation events, and contract change management. -Work closely with the schemes operations and project management team. -Oversee the end-to-end process using the CEMAR system -Provide accurate estimating, cost forecasting, cash flow management, and CVR reporting. -Lead commercial management of highways schemes from inception to completion under the Area 10 contract. -Build strong working relationships with National Highways representatives, supply chain, and internal stakeholders. -Conduct valuations, variations, and final account settlements with the client and supply chain partners. -Monitor project performance to ensure value for money and effective risk management.

What You Bring
