Tasks

-Conduct fieldwork when necessary, providing technical oversight and guidance. -Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to meet project goals. -Supervise a team of surveyors, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines and budgets. -Manage project documentation, including survey reports, drawings, and permits. -Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards. -Lead and manage surveying projects, including roadways, bridges, utilities and related infrastructure. -Ensure the safety of all team members and compliance with safety regulations in the field. -Review and interpret survey data for design and construction purposes.

What You Bring

-Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. -Strong understanding of transportation design and survey requirements. -8+ years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on transportation projects. -Proficiency with surveying equipment and software, including MicroStation, ORD, and Civil 3D. -Excellent project management and team leadership skills. -Indiana Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
