The Role
Overview
Manage and oversee water/wastewater capital projects from design to construction
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Preliminary engineering to develop project cost estimates. -Assists with implementation/interpretation of safety programs. -Perform additional assignments, per supervisors direction. -Maintains official project log and documentation files. -May be required to use ladders or stairs. -Organizes and directs all construction-related activities on a construction project to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule; meets accounting requirements; and is completed to quality standards. -Monitor budgets, schedules, cost reports and job progress and review with team members on a weekly basis. -Project Management of design/build projects. -Oversee project environmental regulation compliance. -Authorize/approve all selecting, hiring, and overseeing the work done by the contractors, purchase requisitions, change requests, etc. -Plans, coordinates and supervise activities of all company and contracted personnel on assigned projects. -Acts as primary client contact for all project-field activities.

What You Bring
-A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent project-related work experience. -Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills required. -In-depth knowledge and experience with all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures and standards. -7-10 years of experience in engineering design and construction of water and wastewater treatment systems; project management; cost estimating; business development and construction management. -Professional Engineer highly preferred but not required. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. -Must be a good team player and work collaboratively with different stakeholders and Veolia team members. -Experience in water/wastewater-related projects is highly desirable. -Excellent written and oral communications Subcontractor Safety, Cost and Quality Management. -The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch and enter confined spaces.
