Summer Placement Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Support QS activities: tender analysis, contracts, payments, forecasting on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Contribute to the submission of weekly financial forecasting including the assembling of contract costs. -Assist with reviewing conditions and/or qualifications prior to submission of a tender -Assist with the preparation of interim applications, including works executed, materials on site and works by subcontractors is submitted to the Client’s team by agreed deadline. -Assist with analyzing subcontract quotations -Assist with contract variations and help evaluate and measure these with Senior Quantity Surveyors -Assist with generating payments and distribute notices to suppliers and subcontractors, including the measurement of works and differences executed to evaluate final costs and accounts. -Assist with the procurement of subcontractors

What You Bring

-Studying a Quantity Surveying degree -Excellent communication skills, be able to work flexibly in a team and be a hard worker -Hold a full manual UK driving license
