Tasks

-Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time -Maintain and organize the Fargo traffic control yard -Work independently while maintaining communication with supervisors and dispatch -Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones per MnDot, NDDOT, and MUTCD standards. -Assemble and repair Type 1 flashers, replace batteries, and fill sandbags as needed -Ensure all equipment is in good working order and ready for field use -Respond to on-call and weekend assignments as needed -Safely operate company truck and trailers to transport traffic control equipment -Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections

What You Bring

-Willingness to be on-call which may include working some weekends -Prior experience in traffic control, equipment maintenance, or construction is preferred. -Must have good employee and customer relationship skills -Valid driver’s license and clean driving -Reliable and self motivated -CDL preferred but not required -Must have good written and verbal communication skills -Ability to work independently -Must have the ability to coordinate several tasks at once and work under strict guidelines -Work outdoors in all seasons -Ability to lift 50
