Tasks

-Collaborate with the technical team for product customization or application-specific solutions. -Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements to offer tailored solutions using PCPs. -Coordinate with the engineering and product teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of pumps and associated equipment. -Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market intelligence to the senior management. -Develop and deliver effective product presentations and demonstrations to customers. -Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as sales revenue, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction. -Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in CRM/Excel tools. -Lead the entire sales process from lead generation, product presentations, negotiation, to closing the sale. -Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets for progressive cavity pumps across India. -Analyze market trends and competitor activity to develop a competitive sales approach. -Provide technical support to clients and assist with troubleshooting and maintenance queries. -Provide technical support and guidance to customers on product selection and application. -Identify and target new clients in key industrial sectors where PCPs can offer a significant advantage. -Foster partnerships with distributors, channel partners, and other stakeholders to expand reach. -Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, engineers, consultants, and distributors. -Increase the funnel size from the assigned region. -Increase market share in existing client accounts and expand into untapped regions or industries. -Stay updated on product innovations, industry trends, and competitor products. -Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical and sales skills. -Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, target industries, and customer needs.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field; MBA or sales certification is a plus. -Strong technical understanding of pump applications, industrial processes, and fluid handling. -Possess in-depth technical knowledge of progressive cavity pumps, their applications, and advantages. -Problem-solving skills and the ability to offer technical solutions to complex challenges. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP will be a plus. -Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently. -Willingness to travel extensively within the region. -Proven track record in sales, with the ability to meet and exceed targets. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. -Strong network within key industries such as oil and gas, water treatment, chemicals, and food and beverage. -Experience working with distributors, OEMs, and engineering contractors. -5+ years of experience in sales or business development in industrial equipment, ideally with experience selling progressive cavity pumps, pumps, or similar fluid handling equipment.
