ROV Intervention Engineer

Support and coordinate ROV operations, technical documentation, and tooling for offshore projects.

Tasks

-Ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with Saipem’s policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with Saipem specific procedures -Become familiar with and maintain awareness of Saipem’s current requirements and where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations -Preparation and writing of technical documentation for remotely operated subsea equipment, eg: Operating Procedures and Operations & Maintenance Manuals -Specify specialist ROV tooling that may be required to support Saipem projects -Review Project installation procedures to ensure practicality and efficiency from a ROV operations point of view -Determine ROV tooling required to support operations and advise Saipem Projects on all aspects of ROV interfaces. -Provide technical assistance to Commercial Departments during bid preparation from a ROV interfaces point of view -Ensure his/ her own safety and that of others is not compromised or placed at risk -Provide technical support to ongoing ROV offshore operations as required
