-Apply fundamental mechanical design principles to work with the team to develop and refine new concepts. -Work with the team to prepare detailed drawings and supporting documents for concepts and prototypes -Work with a small team that partners with and analyzes feedback from end users on new products and design improvements -Create and manage 2D/3D CAD models and engineering documentation using Catia and Windchill. -Take a hands-on approach working with a small team building, assembling, and testing proof-of-concept prototypes based on emerging technologies. -Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support technology evaluations and new product development. -Provide mechanical engineering support to motors testing and development, including fixture and test development
-3+ years of directly related experience -Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software (preferably CATIA) and experience managing files/documentation in PLM system preferably Windchill. -This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, OPT/CPT, TN etc). -Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. -Strong grasp of core mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals. -Demonstrated hands-on skills in prototyping, assembly, and problem-solving. -Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is a must. -Familiarity with prototyping and design for manufacturing used in product development such as CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding, casting, and sheet metal -Curiosity and drive to explore new concepts and technologies in power tools. Attention to detail and commitment to quality in design and documentation.
