Tasks

-Works closely with and advises developers and coordinates with landowners’ and investment partners’ counsel to resolve legal issues that arise for electric transmission, solar, and wind projects. -Work closely with title companies and surveyors to ensure acceptable quality of work is being produced promptly -Assists and coordinates with AGC, Real Estate, to adhere to the company’s acceptable terms for real estate agreements. -Research various states’ real estate laws as needed on particular issues -Reviews, drafts, and negotiates real estate agreements for electric transmission, solar, and wind facilities (including maintenance and upkeep of the Company’s form agreements) to ensure the Company’s land control and other property rights are protected and enforceable. Include more junior Group members for educational opportunities. -Manages real estate aspects for electric transmission, solar and wind projects -Consult with local counsel on state real estate law issues to ensure compliance of real estate agreements with state law.

Requirements

• law degree
• 10-15 years
