Tasks
-Maintain all environmental and regulatory compliance permits and complete required reporting. -Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions. -Supervise and mentor a small EH&S team (1–2 direct reports), including performance management and development. -Promote a safe work environment through proactive initiatives, hazard mitigation, and employee engagement. -Develop, implement, and update EH&S policies and procedures, including chemical safety, ergonomics, injury prevention, and building safety. -Track, report, and analyze EH&S metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement. -Ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations; perform regular site audits and address discrepancies. -Deliver and oversee EH&S training programs, including new hire orientation and ongoing compliance topics.

My client is a dynamic company and is a leading entity in the battery manufacturing, aerospace and defense, clean energy, and fuel cell industry. Their mission is to scale up their production technology and manufacturing processes for their aerospace and defense, factory automation, EV, and underwater vehicle projects. They are looking for an EH&S Manager with a high level of organizational skills, who can successfully lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives across two locations (only 10 minutes apart) and can supervise and mentor a small EH&S team to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. -Managed 2 or more locations as an EH&S manager -Experienced in environmental compliances, OSHA regulations, and JHA and JSA programs -5+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management -Has worked or currently working at a manufacturing facility with direct experience in hazardous waste materials/products and hazardous waste management -US citizenship is required. Huge Plus if you have security clearance!!! -Bachelor's degree
