The Role
Overview
Manage costs, client relationships, and commercial risks for maintenance/refurbishment projects.

Tasks
-Produce accurate cost-to-complete and value forecasts in line with budgets; report any variances that may affect margin or programme. -Review contract terms before commencement and highlight commercial risk, key clauses, and obligations to the project/delivery team. -Ensure contract information and delivery complies with H&S, quality, legal and client requirements. -Obtain, analyse and evaluate information to produce realistic costs for works, goods, materials, and services on designated contracts/projects. -Manage the commercial relationship with clients, ensuring variations, EoTs and changes are captured and agreed.

What You Bring
-Able to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects. -Strong commercial awareness and detailed understanding of contracts. -Experience in refurbishment and/or social housing works. -Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction/property maintenance. -Confident negotiator with good client-facing skills. -Strong analytical, financial and numeracy skills. -Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working with delivery teams.
