Are you a passionate Bridge Engineer who enjoys working on a variety of bridge and transportation infrastructure design and rehabilitation projects? Do you have strong attention to detail, strive to stay current with technology, while constantly looking for new opportunities for innovation? Are you someone with the potential to lead or help mentor a growing team of bridge specialists? If so, we want to hear from you!

  • Excellent proposal writing skills with an interest in business development.
  • Technical mentorship of junior & intermediate staff, as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and work with junior staff and technicians within a team environment.
  • Project Management experience supporting bridge and/or structural projects.
  • Master's or post-graduate degree in Structural or Bridge Engineering an asset.
  • Familiarity with Canadian design codes and standards.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience with Alberta Transportation & Economic Corridors or similar provincial clients (BC Ministry of Transportation & Transit).
  • Suspension bridge & cable stay experience an asset.
  • P.Eng. designation with APEGA.
  • Experience delivering bridge design and/or analysis projects from start to finish.
  • Experience in marketing and/or procurement of projects.
  • Seismic design & retrofit experience an asset.
  • An excellent Group RRSP system.
  • Past experience mentoring and leading others through project management informally or formally.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience within the engineering consulting industry.
  • Bridge inspection experience an asset.
