Tasks

-Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, and Clients to ensure successful project delivery. -Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and payment processes. -Uphold Faithdean’s commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction in all aspects of your work. -Prepare and manage interim valuations, cost reports, and final accounts. -Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects ranging from £1M to £100M. -Proactively manage commercial risks and ensure best value throughout the project lifecycle. -Provide accurate forecasting and cash flow reporting. -Identify, value, and agree variations and change controls.

What You Bring

“We’re looking for an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our Chatham team.” The successful candidate will have a proven ability to manage all commercial aspects of complex projects, including those involving significant structural alterations. A strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management principles is essential, along with excellent attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the high-end commercial refurbishment and fit-out sector, ideally within the London market.
